This is an open-access database featuring 250+ funding opportunities and fellowships for current and prospective graduate students across engineering and related STEM fields with opportunities spanning master’s, doctoral, and postdoctoral levels.
Every Princeton Engineering Ph.D. student receives full funding. In addition to a stipend, Ph.D. students are guaranteed a first-year fellowship from the University. M.S.E. students may receive teaching and/or research assistantships; see departmental websites for details. This level of support continues throughout the program, assuming progress is satisfactory.Â
As a supplement to this support, students are strongly encouraged to apply for distinguished national fellowships from organizations such as the National Science Foundation, the Department of Defense, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration and the National Institutes of Health.
Securing external funding as a graduate student can advance your academic and professional journey. Fellowships and grants not only provide financial support, but also offer recognition of your accomplishments, access to new research communities, and additional professional development resources. Competitive fellowship applications often serve as important milestones for students pursuing research careers, teaching, or industry roles.
